Stilbite is a zeolite mineral, a sodium calcium hydrous aluminium silicate with a hardness of 3.5 – 4. It forms in cavities in lava and is often found with Heulandite and Apophyllite. It is found in Poona, India, Iceland, the Faeroe Islands and Scotland.
