COVID-19 Safety
The health and wellbeing of our clients and therapists is our top priority. If you currently or recently had any respiratory, flu, or cold symptoms including fever, chills, nasal drainage/congestion, sore throat, cough, muscle aches, or shortness of breath, you are required to reschedule your appointment for a date at least 14 days in the future.
Due to new COVID-19 safety standards, we’ve made the following changes:
- As mandated by NYS Forward Phase 3 guidelines everyone is required to wear a mask when entering the studio and during treatment. Clients will not be allowed in the studio without a mask.
- Non-based alcohol sanitizer is provided.
- A temperature reading with a contactless thermometer will be taken of each client before entering the studio.
- More time has been added between scheduled sessions to allow for social distancing.
- Please note only the client will be allowed in the studio. Please do not bring anyone else to your appointment with you.
- You will be contacted the day before the scheduled session to confirm that you have not had any COVID-related symptoms in the last 14 days, have not come into contact with someone known to have COVID, and do not have a temperature over 100 degrees.
- Washing of hands is required of all clients upon arrival.
- The therapist will wear a mask during the session and a face shield while the client is in a supine position (faced up), and will require the client to wear a mask while in a supine position as well. While in a prone position (face down), the client will not be required to wear a mask, unless the client prefers to and feels safer doing so. As per NYS guidelines, the therapist will not be able to perform any face or scalp work for the duration of the COVID pandemic.
-
In addition, Heavenly Hands NYC LLC will continue to use the universal precautions used in the past: washing hands before and after every session, cleaning and disinfecting all tools, and changing linens for every session.

Arrival to Your Session
Please make sure to wear a mask. New clients should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time of their session. This allows you time to fill out the new patient-client forms, change, and prepare for the session. Ongoing clients should arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled session. All sessions have a specific schedule and, early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience.
Late Arrivals
If late arrival is inevitable, and you’re running late, please call us at (929)379-3003. To remain on schedule for all our clients, late arrivals may result in the shortening of your session. Please note that late arrivals will not receive an extension of the scheduled appointments. In special cases, and/or when my schedule allows, I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at my discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original session fee will be charged.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made within 24 hours before your scheduled session. Cancellations made after 24 hours without notification will be charged the full price of the scheduled session.
At Heavenly Hands NYC LLC, we understand that unpredictable events occur in everyone’s life. However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment. Clients who miss their scheduled appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled session.
Inclement Weather
If a session is canceled by the client or therapist due to inclement weather, no fee will be charged to the client as long as the event is rescheduled for a future date AND meets the National Weather Service definition of a “Dangerous Weather Event”. The session fee will be waived if NOAA and/or The National Weather Service should have issued a Major Storm Warning either during the day of the event or in advance of an expected event (ex. advanced announcement Hurricane advisory).
